Happy Wednesday and Happy 2018!! Thank you for visiting my website blog and if you've been waiting for the shop to be put back up after the holidays, I apologize for the delay. It's up now!
I took the first 10 days of the new year to do a little bit of normal living sans small-business-life. It's been lovely and I feel grateful for the break. There were plenty of things to make it busy and plenty of things I could continue to stay busy with but it's time to get B.C. up and running for 2018.
I can see a lot of changes coming down the line. Things I'm excited for and that hopefully will bring Bard Craft to a more authentic and purposefully place. I was very inspired by a book I read over the holidays; "Start With Why" by Simon Sinek. I recommend it across the board. To everyone! I've already shared it many times and I hope I'm not too annoying with the amount I'm referencing it these days. I hope that if you read it (or listen to the audiobook) you will find it just as inspiring and motivating!
Some of the next things I hope to accomplish for B.C. is to get a functioning Email Newsletter and Mailing List up and running, to be more involved in the community in Nashville and share collaborations with the creative community on social media, and to bring to life some new and exciting products and pieces of art that I've had in the works!
Much of my time in 2017 was dedicated to hours sitting at a workbench surrounded with leather shavings and the tools of the trade that I was learning how to use. I hope there is a lot of that this year too. I sure have a whole lot more learning to do!!! But part of moving forward for me is crafting time for other things in my life. There will be endeavors other than B.C. this year that I'm looking forward to tackling and creating a more balanced, diverse 2018. I hope to share these things with you and that they will bring inspiration and creativity of your own!
